Kawasaki Disease: A Comprehensive Pediatric Perspective – Professional Exchange of Experience Among Specialists

A workshop entitled “Kawasaki Disease: The Full Spectrum of Pediatrics” was held at Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1, bringing together physicians from various specialties to discuss current approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with Kawasaki disease.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to exchange clinical experience, review complex clinical cases, discuss current standards of medical care, and address key aspects of differential diagnosis. Particular attention was paid to early recognition of the disease, prevention of complications, and interdisciplinary collaboration in patient management.

The workshop also covered current recommendations for the treatment of Kawasaki disease, as well as practical aspects of the work of pediatricians, pediatric cardiologists, immunologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Such professional meetings contribute to improving the quality of medical care for children, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare professionals, and implementing up-to-date standards in clinical practice.
