The scientific and practical work of Associate Professor Yurii Stepanovskyi focuses on both theoretical and applied aspects of pediatric immunology, with a particular emphasis on autoinflammatory diseases and Kawasaki disease.

Earned a PhD after defending a dissertation on HIV infection in children.

Completed clinical residency in Pediatrics at Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine.

Graduated from Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.

AWARDS AND HONORS

  • 2022
    Awarded the “Rare Champion of Hope 2022” by the American non-profit organization Global Genes for significant contributions to addressing autoinflammatory disease challenges in Ukraine.
  • 2024
    Received an award from Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko for contributions to the development of national education.
  • Completed professional training in the USA and Germany.
  • Delivered presentations at numerous international conferences and congresses, including oral presentations in Japan, Latvia, Turkey, the Netherlands, the USA, and Canada.
