Work Experience & Professional Activities
- Since April 2002, worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Immunology at the P.L. Shupyk Kyiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
- On September 18, 2008, was promoted to Associate Professor of the same department by Rector’s order after winning a competitive selection.
- On August 26, 2010, his contract was extended for seven years. In 2017, his employment term was further extended for another five years.
- Provides medical consultations and treatment at Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1.
Government & Advisory Roles
- From 2011 to 2017, served as the Chief Freelance Specialist in Pediatric Immunology at the Kyiv Department of Health.
- Member of the National Technical Group of Experts on Immunoprophylaxis (NTGEI) from 2012 until the end of his term in 2020. Re-elected as a member for the 2020–2023 term.
- Since April 16, 2020 – Chairman of NTGEI.
- From 2014 to 2016, an expert in the “Vaccines and Immunobiological Products” advisory group of the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
- Member of the Expert Group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on “Infectious Diseases, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Parasitology” (since March 22, 2017).
- Member of the Expert Group on the procurement of immunobiological products and medical products related to cold chain maintenance (since March 22, 2017).
- Member of the Expert Group on procurement of medications for children with primary (congenital) immunodeficiencies (since March 22, 2017).
- Member of the Working Group on Coordination of the International Health Regulations (IHR) and related threats, including border entry points, chemical incidents, and radiological emergencies.
- Member of the National Verification Committee on Measles and Rubella Elimination and the National Certification Committee on Poliomyelitis Eradication.
- Member of the National Formulary Committee of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (since 2018).
- Since 2019, Head of the Vaccination Committee of the Ukrainian Academy of Pediatric Specialties.
- Since June 2022, an expert of the European Technical Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (ETAGE).
Educational & Training Activities
- Since 2006, responsible for the educational work of the department, delivering lectures and conducting seminars and practical classes for students, medical trainees, and physicians.
